We have several very dedicated parishioners as our lay readers. We would be delighted to have you join our group. The Lay readers, after a short course, assist the clergy with the service, reading the gospel, and helping with the Holy Sacraments of Eucharist .
Every Sunday we look for different individuals to read scripture. Many of our readers have a style that truly inspires our congregants. Ex Kindergarten teachers and voice over actors are especially in demand.
Looking for a community that delves into the Bible, wrestles with real life questions about how an ancient text reveals God and applies to our life? This is for you!
For those who are looking for behind the scene kind of leadership. We set-up and clean up the Holy Table and take care of various other liturgical needs. This opportunity is open to anyone, no matter how much you know and don’t know about Anglicanism.

We are looking for Soup and Sandwich makers, kitchen help and funds to help bring the hungry community of Bath together. It is the most important fundraiser that St John's has and runs from October to April. It is an opportunity to cement the strong fellowship that we have in our church and the satisfaction of a job well done!
